Homeschooling Notes: Wednesday, April 8th

I know, I am so behind on this! I am revamping my to do list schedule and making it smaller. I have to get to blogging and promoting my blog more. I am hoping to do some give-aways and maybe even a weekly segment that other’s can join. In the meantime, I am just compiling info and making notes.

Tripp, on the other-hand, is not slacking AT ALL! He is doubling and tripling up on some of his work because he wants to learn so much before school “ends”. LOL!

Since I haven’t updated, I have to list his read books for not only March but also February. YIKES!

Books completed in February (these are the books that he reads on his own, typically for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
1. Mysteries of Ships & Planes – 113 pgs started 1/29 completed 2/6
2. The Haunted Cabin Mystery (Boxcar Children) – 121 pgs started 2/6 completed 2/16
3. Secrets of Droon #1 – 80 pgs started 2/13 completed 2/17
4. Top Secret – 110 pages started and completed 2/17 (one, 2-hr sitting… he liked it LOL)

In addition, we read the following together for Black History Month:
1. Harriet Tubman: Call to Freedom – 116 pgs started 2/2 completed 2/16

March – he didn’t do as many books
1. Stealing South: Story of the Underground Railroad – 201 pgs we started it together on 2/16 but at 1 chapter a day he got frustrated and asked to do it on his own so he finished it on 3/17
2. Holes – 232 pgs started on 3/23 completed on 3/30
